The right size for a Pekingese
According to our guide, size S suits a Pekingese, for a neck circumference of about 25–35 cm. But every dog is different, even within a breed: the safest option is to measure your dog.
- Measure the neck at its base, where the collar sits.
- Leave room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
- Between two sizes, take the larger one: our harnesses tighten with their adjustment buckles.
Our advice for a Pekingese
Stocky and short-nosed, the Pekingese is more comfortable in a harness, which leaves its throat free. Also measure its chest, which is often broad for its size.
