The right size for a Miniature Dachshund
According to our guide, size S suits a Miniature Dachshund, for a neck circumference of about 25–40 cm. But every dog is different, even within a breed: the safest option is to measure your dog.
- Measure the neck at its base, where the collar sits.
- Leave room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
- Between two sizes, take the larger one: our harnesses tighten with their adjustment buckles.
Our advice for a Miniature Dachshund
With its long back and short legs, the Dachshund is often more comfortable in a harness, which spreads the pull without tugging on the neck. Adjust the belly strap carefully so that it does not hinder the front legs.
