The right size for a Yorkshire Terrier
According to our guide, size S suits a Yorkshire Terrier, for a neck circumference of about 22–30 cm. But every dog is different, even within a breed: the safest option is to measure your dog.
- Measure the neck at its base, where the collar sits.
- Leave room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
- Between two sizes, take the larger one: our harnesses tighten with their adjustment buckles.
Our advice for a Yorkshire Terrier
The Yorkshire Terrier is a small dog with a slender neck: many owners prefer a harness, which spreads the pull across the chest. Its long coat can get caught in the buckles: check that it is free once the harness is on.
